A thief was disturbed this afternoon (27/08) whilst rummaging through a car in Lyneham.
It was at this point he took off running, unfortunately for him several good Samaritan’s chased him down and held him until police arrived.
If they hadn’t of caught him it wouldn’t have mattered anyway, he left his backpack at the scene which contained his photo id and mobile phone.
